MCAS New River Welcomes Troops 2 Roughnecks!

Classes start October 27th - Limited Seating - Register Now!  The oil & gas industry is booming!  Be a member of the first graduating class at MCAS New River.  The largest drilling companies in the country are seeking our graduates who are IADC Rig Safety Pass and Well Control certified!

T2R Field Trip To Long Beach, CA Oil Rigs

Troops 2 Roughnecks visited THUMS, an oil and gas drilling company, on Saturday, October 18th. Twenty-one active duty Marines traveled to Long Beach, California, then boarded a boat for their first rig visit.  In addition to viewing the drilling apparatus, students also witnessed first-hand the daily activities for roughnecks and  mudloggers on the job site.

T2R Oil Industry Career Seminar & Hiring Fair

The oil industry is booming and facing a critical shortage of roughnecks and mudloggers!  On July 8th, Kenai Drilling, Noble Crporation and Union Drilling were represented at the Oil & Gas Industry Seminar at Camp Pendleton, CA.  It was 'standing room only' as several of the largest onshore and offshore companies in the U.S. and the world spoke to current and prospective Troops 2 Roughnecks students about career opportunities both here and abroad.
